The Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) has lodged an FIR with the police in connection with defacement of property in different parts of the city. A team of the Property Defacement Patrol department of the BMC visited the Nehru Nagar locality and found that at several places, Government property has been defaced. Two people were caught red-handed painting advertisements on the walls of Sewage Treatment Plant for which the squad took stern action against them. An FIR under section 3 of the Defacement of property Act was lodged.
