Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) has announced the results of the movie making, essay writing and slogan writing competitions campaign on Wednesday.
The competitions were conducted under ‘our pledge Bhopal number 1’ campaign in order to create awareness among the youths regarding the cleanliness of the city. Avinash of Vikramaditya College, Bhopal has attained the first prize while Satya Narayan Khare and Anam Siddique have bagged the second and the third prize respectively in the movie making competition.
Anshita Kher of St Joseph’s Convent School has won the first prize while government girls’ school’s Rachna Pathak and Maulana Azad School’s Mohammed Farooq have bagged the second and third prize respectively in the essay writing competition.
Udit Hangle of All Saint School has won the first prize while Maulana Azad School’s Saroj Maran and Nirmal Meera School’s Fardeen Khan have bagged the second and third prize respectively in the slogan writing competition.
Three- three students would also receive the consolation prizes in the essay writing, slogan writing and movie making competition.
The winners would be felicitated by the cash prizes and citation letter.
Notably, BMC had received around 66 entries for the essay and slogan writing competition while 38 entries for the movie making competition.
A jury of Bansal News’s Channel Head Sharad Dwivedi, IBC 24’s Channel Head Ajay Tripathi and BTV’s Vinod Tiwari selected the winners in the movie making competition.
First prize winner would get the cash prize of Rs 25000 while the second and third prize winner of the movie making competition would receive the cash prize of Rs 15000 and Rs 10000.
Similarly, first prize winner would get the cash prize of Rs 5000 while the second and third prize winner of slogan and essay writing competition would receive the cash prize of Rs 3000 and Rs 2000.
