Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) will organize a yoga program in Bhanpur' Adampur, yoga program will be held on September 17 at 9 am, in the program school and college students will also be included.
There was once a heap of garbage in this garbage dumping site spread over 21 acres, but the corporation cleaned it. This event will be organized under Indian Cleanliness League 2.0, Mayor Malti Rai shared the information on Friday.
Mayor Rai said that September 17 is also the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and will also celebrate birthday after yoga. There will also be a League 2.0 program.
At the same time, from September 18 to October 2, health check-up camps will be organized for Safai Mitras.
She said, the main objective of the Indian Swachhata League is to organize the youth in the city for awareness, responsibility and participation in cleanliness towards waste management. People are being registered in this program through QR code and link. The program will be evaluated by the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
Adampur has been selected for this programme. So that, we can send the message of cleanliness to the entire country. MIC members RK Singh Baghel, Ravindra Yeti, Sushma Bavisa were also present.
Mayor Rai said that the health check-up of all the Safai Mitras will be done in the Safai Mitra Safety Camp which will run from September 18 to October 2. In these camps, information will also be given about various schemes of the government like Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya, Ayushman, Ujjwala, Atal Pension and Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana.
The Mayor said that a prize will also be given to the team planning to clean the dirty place in any part of the city. There will be a competition for this. In which first, second and third prizes will be given.
