In view of rising cases of Omicron the fourth edition of the Bhopal Literature & Art Festival (BLAF) will now be held on 25, 26 and 27 of March at Bharat Bhawan. Earlier it was scheduled for 14, 15, and 16th January. The three-day-long festival will see the participation of a large number of well-known thought leaders, authors, former bureaucrats, environmentalists, and other celebrities. This was informed in a press release issued here on Monday by former IAS officer Raghav Chandra, who is the President of the Society for Culture and Environment that has been organizing the BLAF. He said keeping in mind the countrywide spike in Omicron cases we have decided to postpone BLAF until March. He said that while the festival is aimed at enhancing overall appreciation of good literature, especially among the city's young population, it is the endeavour of the Society to build this event as a 'Knowledge Festival' in which independent thinkers, academicians, authors, society leaders and experienced bureaucrats meet to discuss and present their ideas, experience and their new literary creations.
