Formation of Bhatratiya Janata Party (BJP) Government in State for third consecutive term will ensure development, said BJP State President Narendra Singh Tomar while addressing labour Conference at Pithampur in Dhar district on Sunday.
Tomar further said that when BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) formed Government at the Centre under leadership of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, it increased interest on provident fund of labourers ensuring more savings for them. But, when Congress formed Government it decreased the interest rate. BJP has always worked for the welfare and development of farmers, labourers and villagers.
He said that under leadership of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan state is being counted among the developed States. It has surpassed Haryana and Punjab in agricultural production and is now top in agricultural sector of the country. More than Rs 25,000 crore has been spent by State Government for 24-hour electricity in 55000 villages of the State, he added.
He further said that victory of BJP in the upcoming state assembly election will be in public interest because citizens of the State have witnessed poor condition in Digvjiay Singh led State Government for 10 years. If Congress party forms Government in the State then state will again start lagging in development, he told.
