While concluding the symposium on good governance in Sagar on Wednesday, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State organisational general secretary Arvind Menon said that BJP was now working towards fulfilling its commitment of uniting India.
Menon said, “The party is now focusing on developing good human beings and party workers. Our mission is to make good governance felt by the masses. The twenty first century would be of India.”He further said that the prediction of Swami Vivekananda that 21st century belonged to India, would become true but his party needed to show notion of good deeds. “We need to get involved with full might to accomplish the pleasant initiatives launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for comprehensive changes in all sectors and sections ever since he assumed office at the Centre. Our all efforts are focused on bringing betterment in the lives of the common man,” he added.
He said that the credit of continuous miraculous success of the party in parliamentary elections, assembly elections and now in the civic elections is the outcome of good governance provided by the party. The feeling of good governance has stimulated the common man. To inhibit good governance in every walk of life, every person would have to work hard and would have to prove allegiance, he added.
Showering praise on the resolution taken by the office bearers of the Sagar Municipal Corporation that no office bearer of the corporation would attach his personal interests in the commercial activities of corporation, the senior BJP leader said this decision is laudable. “We would have to act similarly in other civic bodies. By sacrificing our personal interests in the interest of the common man we would be able to make feel of good governance to the common man,” he added. Similar symposiums were held in all the 56 organisational districts of the state.
