Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president and MP Nandkumar Singh Chouhan along with BJP State organizational general secretary Arvind Menon participated in Swachchh Bharat Abhiyan here on Thursday.
Further, Nandkumar Singh Chouhan also conferred his best wishes to former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his birthday.While participating in Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Nandkumar said that it is an initiative taken by PM Narendra Modi with a dream of clean India and now it is duty of every individual to participate in the cleanliness drive and be a part of the dream.Meanwhile, the BJP workers commenced the door-to-door membership campaign (Sadasyata Abhiyan) in 756 mandals of 56 organizational districts of party here on Thursday.
Control room in-charge of BJP State Office Tapan Bhomik said that door-to-door membership campaign has been a revolutionary step as all the MlA’s, parliamentarians, have taken up the initiative together. Notably, the BJP workers have vowed to include 10 to 20 thousand members under membership campaign. On the occasion, the workers have distributed blankets and sweets in the hospitals.Commenced on the birthday of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Tapan Bhomik further regarded the door-to-door membership campaign like an icing on the cake.
He further said that various cultural events were organized to observe Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s birthday and on the other hand BJP workers carried out the membership campaign effectively.Notably, the participation of the BJP leaders has motivated the citizens to participate in Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. As Sushma Swaraj headed the Abhiyan in Raisen and Vidisha on the other hand Bhopal MP Alok Sanjar headed the Abhiyan in Bhopal. Moreover, BJP has set goal of including 1.5 crore members till March 31 under membership campaign.
