The irrevocable trust shown by the minority community of Madhya Pradesh in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) gave pleasant results as the party emerged victorious on 165 seats of the total 230 in assembly elections while it bagged 27 of the 29 parliamentary seats from the state, said Minority Welfare Minister of State Antar Singh Arya while addressing the national executive meeting of the BJP minority cell here on Tuesday.
Arya further said, "Two Haj houses are under construction in the State at Bhopal and Indore respectively, we are hopeful that they would be completed by 2014-15 and the pilgrims would start getting benefitted by them."
He said that ever since the independence the Congress adopted the divisive policy and preserved backwardness. The Congress looks for vote bank politics in backwardness. The minority community now understands this political weakness of the Congress.
The BJP has won the confidence of the minority community and the days are not far when the minorities would not even touch the shadow of Congress, he added.
National president of the BJP minority cell Abdul Rashid Ansari lauded the Minority welfare schemes of the Chief Ministerb Shivraj Singh Chouhan led BJP Government and congratulated the chief minister for implementing such developing schemes in the interest of minorities.
Ansari further said that the minority community now well understands the conspiracy of branding BJP as communal political party and it has given befitting reply to these so called secular forces including Congress, Samajwadi Party (SP), Rashtriya lok Dal (RlD) and others in the recently held lok Sabha elections.
These parties were shown their real place by the minority community as they were washed out in Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, he added.
Earlier, at the beginning of the programme the Madhya Pradesh president of the minority cell of the party Hidayatullah Sheikh accorded welcome to Arya and other dignitaries.
