BJP national vice-president Prabhat Jha made it clear that it was not his party policy to bring people of other parties to the BJP fold, but the party welcomed to those who wanted to come. While talking to media here on Tuesday, Jha said many leaders in Congress were quitting the party as they felt harassed with the presence of leader of Opposition in the State Assembly Satyadev Katare.
On the contrary, State spokesman of the BJP Vijendra Singh Sisodia has claimed that two more Congress legislators are in the queue for joining the saffron party.
Commenting on the slapping incident of Aam Admi Party (AAP) chief and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Jha said that he deserved the same treatment because he acted like Hitler. Those auto-rickshaw drivers, who were with Kejriwal till yesterday, are now with Modi.
Jha expected that his party would win more than 25 seats in Madhya Pradesh and stated that there was tough fight on Chhindwara and Guna constituencies. Regarding violence in Jabalpur constituency, he stated that his party did not believe in violence.
Meanwhile, Sisodia told media persons that the party welcomed Congress MlA from Maihar of Satna district Narayan Tripathi and claimed that two more Congress legislators may join the saffron party soon.
He further said that Scindia was facing problems in his Guna constituency and that was why he was not able to come out of Guna and his family has also joined the campaigning there.
