Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Madhya Pradesh vice president Vijesh lunawat said on Sunday, “It is the responsibility of the government to run the parliament, but is it the right of the opposition to create ruckus and obstructions in the functioning of parliament.”
lunawat in a statement here on Sunday said, “The opposition Congress says that it is the responsibility of the Government to run the parliament but the Congress need to answer that does the Congress has the right to turn the parliament into haunt by creating obstructions in the working. The Congress has done loss of the country by obstructing the whole winter session of the parliament and the elected representatives of the Congress have disappointed the people of the country.”
lunawat further said that the Congress could not get rid of the exonerated by just saying that the BJP during the last lok Sabha created obstructions and did not allowed the parliament to function. During the last lok Sabha that was fifteenth lok Sabha the then ruling Congress has done series of scams and it was not the BJP that raised those issues but it was the CAG that raised the issue the court took cognisance of that and ministers went to jail. After that the BJP demanded resignation from the ministers that was turned down by the Government and then it was the compulsion of democracy to oppose that move and the parliament session was washed out. If the then Man Mohan Singh Government would have accepted the opposition demand then the things could have been settled. It was Congress that obstructed the fifteenth lok Sabha, he added.
He said that during the current lok Sabha there is no such issue, neither any scam has been done neither something fishy has been surfaced still the Congress by obstructing the parliament strangulated the democracy.
