Congress faced stiff opposition for adopting colonial thinking, asserted Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday and termed the statement of Congress spokesperson Kapil Sibal as absurd.
In a statement, BJP’s State Vice President Vinod Gotiya stated that Kapil Sibal in his statement says that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guru had protested against the Congress during the freedom struggle. Kapil Sibal is trying to mislead the people of the country.
While replying to Sibal’s statement, Gotiya said that nationalists had protested against the Congress as working of the Congress was against the national interest. Congress had accepted the ideology of colonialism and destroyed the communal base of the country. Congress was the first to follow the English and it has given the sense of appeasement to the country. Congress has promoted the minority-ism, which has led the separatism, he added.
Gotiya further said that the guru of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi was a nationalist from the beginning. Modi’s guru had propagated the nationalism thoughts. Congress had done politics over the issues of the national interest therefore it had been the commitment of the nationalists to protest against the Congress. This commitment would remain the same even in the upcoming days, he added.
Gotiya further added that the Congress party has made the country problem-ridden. Terrorism was born due to the faults of the Congress party. Nationalists had participated in the freedom struggle and have given sacrifices for the national interest. The freedom struggle was an umbrella and all the ideologies were under this umbrella so congress party cannot take the credit of the struggle alone.
