leader of Opposition in the State Assembly Ajay Singh said that the BJP Government is responsible for deaths in violence during ‘Bharat Bandh’ protest by several Dalit organisations against the alleged dilution of the SCs/STs Act across the State on Monday.
He demanded immediate resignation of Home Minister Bhupendra Singh for failure in handling law and order situation during ‘Bharat Bandh’ protest after witnessing increased number of crime against women across the state.
Ajay Singh appealed to the people of the state that they should not get influenced by anyone. They should raise voice for justice and rights but not by breaking laws and within the limits set by legal system to maintain peace in the society.
For the incidents witnessed on Monday, State government is responsible. The protest was scheduled and government was aware but it seems that government has willingly ignored the possible consequences which would happen and unfortunately during the protest the untoward incidents occurred.
The lives of innocent people would never have been lost and the situation after violent incidents which has been witnessed across the state would never have been occurred if after Supreme Court’s decision Central government would have filed review petition.
