The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State president and MP, Nandkumar Singh Chouhan has said that Prime Minister does not belong to any political party but is of the country. The meaning of the statement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi should be understood, he added.
Chouhan in a statement here on Friday said, “PM Modi told the political parties of the country and the people associated with various ideological commitments that after becoming Prime Minister any person does not remain the representative of any political party, similarly the Chief Minister does not remain the representative of any particular political party, their life becomes devoted for the public.”
Chouhan further said that the parliament session is near, if the statement of the prime minister is given a look in this pretext than also Modi’s views are far from political promiscuity and are self explanatory that work should take place in the country. The parliament session should also be working session. The value of person is nothing in front of complex, he added.
He said that all democracy lovers would also expect that the opposition would also not leave any stone unturned to follow the parliamentary traditions and the coming parliamentary session would be fruitful and public oriented as expected by the democracy lovers.
“What else could PM Modi meant by this that the large nation like India also had endless problems and delay should not be made for their resolution. The parliament should emerge as the place for opposition; debate and agreeing on disagree in the national interest,” he added.
The senior BJP MP said that this is also the importance of democracy that in it opposition and consent after difference of opinion ends in agreeing, in that public interest and national interest remain on top.
In this scenario the desire of peime minister that debate should take place on blocking issues and decisions should be taken in public interest, he added.
