BJP plan to hit enrolment target

The State unit of the BJP was most acclaimed and exemplary and that was why the party leadership had given it the target of enrolling two crore members. This was a challenge for every worker of the party and the party leadership is hopeful that the workers would meet this challenge.

During the last elections the party got 1.5 crore votes in the State, all those voters would be included in the party and together we would have to approach 50 lakh new people in the coming 58 days to make them party members, said Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Madhya Pradesh president and MP Nandkumar Singh Chouhan here on Sunday while inaugurating the meeting of membership drive in-charges and lifetime members meeting at party state headquarter Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya campus.

Chouhan said, “The next couple of months would be membership months and on February 11, the lifetime Support Fund would be deposited while February 13, 14 and 15 would be dedicated for intensive membership mega drive.”

Chouhan further said that the stature of Madhya Pradesh in the party organisation would be estimated by the success of the mega membership drive. The extension of membership would strengthen our mass base and organization. This is the farsightedness of the national leadership as the world would evaluate us by the strength of the BJP, he added.

BJP State organisational general secretary Arvind Menon in his address on the occasion said that the party workers of every level would show his abilities in making active members of the party. “We have unlimited possibilities before us for the mega membership drive. We have to bring in all organizations, civic bodies and organizations in the party fold through this special mega membership drive. BJP state general secretary Vinod Gotiya also addressed the important meet for the mega membership drive.
