The State Congress has alleged that by observing anti-establishment atmosphere in Madhya Pradesh, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has handed over the election command to Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee president and MP Arun Yadav in a statement here on Sunday said, “The Sangh that keeps an close eye on all the activities of the BJP and its Government in the State has become aware that the condition of the saffron party that anyhow managed to win the assembly elections is very bad. The electorate of the State is now in remorse condition as they now feel that they have done a big mistake by giving their vote to the BJP.”
Yadav further said the helmsman of the Sangh guessed that the anti incumbency factor against the BJP and its State Government and it was due this factor that the four day RSS meet in Bhopal last days was held to chalk out strategy to overcome the anti establishment mood of the people.
Now, with the declaration of the BJP candidates and seeing their opposition and angst of the party workers against them, the BKP has left the field on instructions of the RSS and the command of the electioneering has been handed over to the core RSS volunteers, he added.
He said that the Sangh is stunned with the way opposition of the candidates and the infighting in BJP has come out in the open. The graph of Modi is also going down in Madhya Pradesh increasing worries of the Sangh that is vowed to make him the prime minister of the country at any cost.
All these factors have increased the anxiety of the RSS and to take control of the things and do damage control it has instructed the BJP leadership to stay away from electioneering and took full control of it, he added.
