Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national vice-president and Madhya Pradesh in-charge Vinay Sahasrabuddhe reached Maihar with State organisational general secretary Arvind Menon on Thursday and took stock of the party’s preparations for the by-poll scheduled for February 13.

Sahasrabuddhe also met the party workers and reviewed party’s Mandal wise organisational fielding at booth level, while Menon took stock of workers booth-wise stay and mass contact in the assembly segment and the progress of mass contact and dialogue with  the electorate of the constituency.

Sahasrabuddhe told the party workers that a ward election has equal importance for us like that of the election of president of country. “We have our governments from Centre to the State. To win hearts of the people with compatibility is our enchantment. We do not have to do any lethargy in this but the exuberance and aggravation are our biggest hurdles. So get rid of it and the way Arjun eyed only the eye of fish similarly we should indulge in winning the trust of the electorate,” he added.

Sahasrabuddhe further said that workers should reach the electorate and express their deepest sympathies over their pain and sorrows this would build the bridge of trust and the moral of electorate would go up. Electorate’s pain and sorrows would subsidize. Electorate’s trust on us should always be maintained because our relations are eternal and these should not come done, he added.

He said that the worker should remain alert over social equation because it is our political duty to serve the interest of all sections and communities of the society. The BJP has made ‘sabka sath sabka vikas’ as its core commitment and we do not have to move here or there from it, he added.

Menon told the workers they should only be concerned for the sector for that they have been set accountable and remain focussed on the booth, which comes under their  charge.
