BJP names 11 candidates in fourth list

The BJP on Thursday night declared its fourth list of 11 candidates. With this, candidate only one seat is yet to be declared. The saffron party has dropped the ticket of sitting MlA Dhruv Narayan Singh.

Since, Bhopal's Madhya and Huzur constituencies were tricky ones, the BJP took so much time in declaring the candidates from these seats.

In the sensational Shehla Masood murder case, the CBI had questioned Dhruv Narayan and the party leaders had considered it as a bad name to the party and probably with this reason, he has been denied party ticket. Similarly, from Huzur, sitting MlA Jitendra Daga has been dropped. He was considered as close to senior party leader Sushma Swaraj, following which he was fielded from Huzur in the year 2008.

After Swaraj had distanced her from Daga, it was considered that he would not get party ticket this time, but the senior leaders were not in a position to drop him because he had wrested the constituency with huge margin.

However, finally, the party decided to deny him party ticket and fielded State vice president of the BJP Rameshwar Sharma from Huzur.

He had been demanding ticket from this constituency only.

The party has fielded Arvind Bhadoriya from Ater, Harvansh Rathore from Banda, Anil Jain from Niwari, lalita Yadav from Chhatarpur, Guddan Pathak from Bijawar, Indu Tiwari from Panagar, Surendra Nath Singh from Bhopal Madhya, Rameshwar Sharma from Huzur, Hitendra Singh Solanki from Badwah, Kailash Chawla from Manasa and Dilip Parihar from Neemuch.
