BJP makes mockery of law and order in State, says Ajay Singh

leader of Opposition Ajay Singh has alleged that the incident of firing and beating of police officers by Bharatiya Janata Party workers at international airport in Khajuraho exposed the real face of law and order situation in the State.

“The incident that occurred in the presence of BJP national president Rajnath Singh, who has Z-plus security cover, at an international airport is a serious lapse of security. It shows the poor condition of law and order in the State. BJP miscreants are on a rampage creating anarchy without any fear of police, while the Government is concerned only of protecting these anti-social elements,” Singh said. “Whole State would be embarrassed if any untoward incident had happened at Khajuraho. BJP leader Rajgopalachari Mishra misbehaved and even beat the police officers, including a Town inspector (TI), when they tried to stop the BJP miscreants,” he said.

“The sole responsibility of the incident at Khajuraho rests with the State Government. If the BJP tries to protect the culprits, Congress will protest with all its might,” he said.

“It is obvious that if the party leaders and workers will start creating chaos and mokery of law and order, the morale of criminal will get high and that of the police force will take a dip. This is the reason that crime is at the all time high in Madhya Pradesh.,” Singh said.

“The BJP Government and party members have become licentious and they no longer respect for law and order. Instead of taking action against the miscreants, the BJP is trying to protect them,” Singh said.
