State executive meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) legal cell was held here on Sunday at party’s State headquarters Pandit Deendayal campus.

The meeting was started by paying floral tributes to Pandit Deendayal, Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Rajmata Scindia and Kushabhau Thakre by party State president and MP Narendra Singh Tomar, State organisational general secretary Arvind Menon and State convener of the cell Shantilal lodha. Tomar addressing the office bearers of the cell on the occasion said that this is the first meeting of the cell after the Assembly elections and lauded the role of the cell during the Assembly elections.

“The role of the cell office bearers and workers was very important in the Assembly election that was very well executed by them. Before one year of the election they formulated various plans and brought them to reality in favour of the BJP and ensured the victory of the party for the third consecutive term,” Tomar said.

Tomar further said that the Governments that came to power in the State since independence had almost similar working pattern but when the BJP came into power and Shivraj Singh Chouhan took reigns of the State  he tried to run the government by adopting offbeat methods and got succeed. Chouhan understood the common man’s problems and honestly tried to resolve them. Under his leadership the State Government formulated development schemes for all sections of society including poor, farmers, laborers, women and youth.

The works done as per these schemes resulted in party’s victory for the record third time in the State, he added. He said that the faith of people in chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and BJP has increased and the record victory in the Assembly elections reflects this. The victory was neither unexpected nor amazing because it is the result of hard work of lakhs of party workers and the public oriented schemes of the BJP Government, he added.
