A team of the BJP corporators and MlAs led by Alderman Santosh Gaur and the secretary Dinesh Pande here on Wednesday submitted a memorandum to the divisional Commissioner seeking annulment of the membership of the Congress corporator Chote Yadav. from the Indore municipal corporation for his undemocratic behavior during the budget-2013 discussion of the Indore municipal corporation at the Gandhi Hall on Tuesday.
Taking a dig at the Congress corporator Chote Yadav, both Gaud and Pande while describing the behavior of Yadav during the budget discussion as a shameful incident for democracy, said it was for the first time in the history of Indore municipal corporation that the annul budget of the corporation has crossed the mark of `1980 crore and the development works being carried out by the corporation appears to have not gone well with the Congress.
The duo said the Congress corporator apparently getting panicky over the ongoing development works, has stooped low and has resorted to make use of undemocratic language during the budget discussion.
Notable among those who accompanied Gaur and Pande up to the office of divisional Commissioner included BJP MlAs Ramesh Mendola, Jeetu Jirati, Indore city BJP general secretary Kamal Baghela, Manakchand Sogani, Ramdas Garg, Satish Sharma, Kamlesh Nachan, Munnalal Yadav, Chandu Shinde, Sapna Niranjan Chouhan, Padma Bhoje, Nandu Baurasi and Jyoti Tomar respectively.
The budget discussion of the Indore Municpal Corporation yesterday turned stormy when the Congress corporator Chote Yadav during his budget speech described Mayor Krishnamurari Moghe as mere a puppet being run by corrupt officials. Yadav in his speech also described the BJP corporators as psychopants of the Mayor. This apparently irked the BJP corporators and they demand ouster of Yadav from the house and deletion of the word 'psychonauts' used by the Congress corporator.
