Former BJP Mandal President shot his wife as she was refused to drink alcohol, fired two shots from a licensed gun whichb caused her death.
BJP leader Rajendra Pandey, who lives in Ratibad area of the capital, shot his wife Sheela Pandey on Monday night. After the incident, Sheela Pandey was taken to the hospital for treatment, where the doctors declared her brought dead.
In the preliminary investigation refusing to drink alcohol by Sheela surfaced as reason of murder. The accused husband is absconding from the spot. The police are continuously raiding in search.
SI Karamveer Singh said that Rajendra Pandey, a resident of Ratibad, Sai Nath Nagar,shot his wife Sheela Pandey at 12 on Monday night. Rajendra is addicted to alcohol. On Monday too, he was drinking alcohol with a relative at home, when his wife Sheela protested, they started quarrelling. The elder daughter had come to the house with her husband and informed her maternal grandfather.
Hearing about his arrival, Rajendra also left the house after sometime he fired at her wife Sheela with a 12 bore licensed gun kept in the car.
The accused has fled from the spot. The police are continuously raiding in search.
Sheela was the Mahila Morcha office bearer while accused Rajendra Bhopal has been BJP Vice President of TT Nagar Mandal of South-West Assembly Constituency, whereas at present Sheela Pandey was BJP's Bhopal Rural Mandal Vice President Ratibad and Bhopal Rural Mahila Morcha office bearer.
