The nationwide cleanliness drive is being run to accomplish the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Clean India drive. Innovative attempt has been made under the programme to sensitise the countrymen towards the cleanliness besides they are pledged to execute their partnership in the drive.
In order to fulfill the cleanliness resolution, the State unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday carried out a cleanliness drive at Ten number market of the State capital. The drive was started from the car parking of the market and cleanliness was done in the market.
BJP Madhya Pradesh president and MP Nandkumar Singh Chouhan, State organisational general secretary Arvind Menon, state vice president Vijesh lunawat, state Secretary Madanmohan Gupta, Bhopal MP Alok Sanjar, Bhopal central MlA Surendranath Singh, Bhopal Mayor and district president Alok Sharma, Chairman Bhopal Municipal Corporation Surjeet Singh Chouhan, Corporators and district office-bearers participated in the drive.
State President Chouhan addressing the gathering on the occasion said, “BJP would indulge with all its might to fulfill the dream of Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi and PM Modi. The cleanliness dive is being run across the country to accomplish the ambitious ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ drive of PM Modi. In the series State office-bearers are ensuring their participation in the drive also run across the state besides they are making people aware with the drive in order to accomplish the hypothesis of Swach Bharat.”
Chouhan further said that cleanliness ensures development of the society that is why we should execute our duty of maintaining cleanliness in our surroundings including lanes, roads, colonies, offices and public places. Every citizen should ensure his, her participation in maintaining cleanliness of country and society, he added.
BJP workers, supporters and large numbers of people were present on the occasion.
