'BJP enrols 2.5l new members every day in MP'

The per day average of Bharatiya Janata Party membership enrollment in Madhya Pradesh has reached 2.5 lakh due to the hard work of the party workers, fluctuation in this figure is natural, but we should remain committed to maintain this pace so, the momentum of the membership drive should remain till its last date, that is March 31, said BJP State organisational general secretary Arvind Menon.
He was reviewing the joint meetings of umbrella organisations and various cells of the party on Thursday at party’s State headquarters at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya campus. Menon said, “Madhya Pradesh would for sure become number one State of the country in terms of making new members due to the hard work of workers, well-wishers and supporters of the party.”
He further said that over 84 lakh members have been made in the State till Thursday noon. “Only Gujarat is slightly ahead of us but we would definitely push back Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh also to reach the top position of making highest number of members,” he said, asking the activists to focus on the Mandals, and made the working committee of every Mandal into active member. When every member of the working committee would become active member than the average of membership would automatically go up, Menon told the office bearers of the umbrella organisations and various cells of the party.
The senior BJP leader also informed the office-bearers of umbrella organisations and various cells of the party to procure and deposit the membership forms in the Mandals only. Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha national vice president and State in-charge Shivbhushan Singh in his address said that the party organisation of the State is fabulously doing the membership drive would definitely yield results that would be different from other States and the Madhya Pradesh organisation would definitely defend its prominent place.
