The Railway Board Chairman faced opposition from BJP legislators and former Congress MlA, who staged dharna at the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) office demanding the opening of the Chhola railway crossings.
BJP legislators Vishwas Sarang and Jitendra Daga remained at the spot for more than two hours. Former Congress MlA PC Sharma also reached there later, raising similar demand. Chairman Arunendra Kumar talked to the political leaders and received memorandums in connection with their demands.
However, later talking to mediapersons, he said that he has not given any assurance in this regard. The crossings would be opened only after the work is complete.
