The12-hour BJP bandh affected normal life here fully as business establishments, shops, banks, and Government and private offices remained closed on Saturday.
District BJP president Sukanta Panigrahi and leaders like Devnarayan Pradhan, BJP Nagar president Kalicharan Sahu and Ramesh Mahanty led the protestors and demanded the resignation of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for his failure to provide security to the women of the State.
