BJP & organisation both engaged in moral corruption, says Bhuria

State Congress has alleged that the BJP Government and the organisation are both engaged in moral corruption.

Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) president and MP Kantilal Bhuria in a statement here on Monday said that the BJP acted swiftly against former Ministers Raghavji and Vijay Shah but it is silent over its organisational general secretary of State Arvind Menon, who is also facing sexual exploitation allegations by a woman.

In fact, the BJP leadership does not have the moral courage to take action against Menon. They are afraid of him because the sex scandal, in which Menon is involved, several other BJP leaders are also part of it. If action is taken against Menon than the morality of many other leaders would also get exposed, he added.

Bhuria further said that Menon is also the in-charge for the election at organisational level. What would be the agenda of the party that is going in to elections under the leadership of a leader who is himself indulged in sexual exploitationIJ What would be the issuesIJ What would be the election slogans of the partyIJ People could well understand all this. In fact, Raghavji, Shah & Menon all are the three faces of the party ‘chal, charitra aur chehra’. This is only the beginning and State people would see black faces of many Raghavjis and Menons in the coming days, he added.

He said that it is clear from the activities of the Jabalpur police that it is under heavy political pressure and that is why it is neither able to register a case nor are they replying to the letters of the MP State Human Rights Commission. Question is that for how long the BJP and the Chief Minister would suppress the shameful act of its Ministers and office bearers, he added.
