A 43-year-old man died while his friend escaped with severe injuries after their bike rammed into a truck at Tarawali trisection under Berasia police station area in the evening on Friday.
According to police, two man were rushed to hospital where one was declared dead. Police said that they deceased identified as Yogendra Singh while Radhavallabh escaped with injuries.
After the two were injured during the investigation police have seized the truck and arrested the truck driver. The body has been sent for the post-mortem.
The police have registered a case against the truck driver who had not switched on backlights of park trucked.
The deceased was a resident of Berasia and was on his way with Radhavallabh on bike which rammed into a parked truck due to darkness late in the night. The locals informed police and ambulance which took the two to hospital where one of them was declared dead. Multiple injuries over vital parts caused his death, said police.
Meanwhile, Teelajamlpura police have nabbed two miscreants for molestation and assaulting a 20-year-old married woman in the evening on Saturday. Police said that the accused identified as Umar Qureshi and Hashim Qureshi were booked who assaulted and molested the victim at her home.
The victim in her complaint stated that her husband had a fight with Umar over vehicle and later Umar and Hashim came and started to abuse and later scuffled with her and molested her. The police registered a case of molestation and assault and started search for the accused.
