A 28-year-old youth died while another youth escaped with injuries after their bike rammed into a tractor trolley at Depot square under Kamla Nagar police station area on Monday.
According to the police, two injured youths were rushed to a hospital where one of them was declared dead while another escaped with severe injuries.
The deceased, identified as Vicky Vishwakarma while injured was identified as Mohit Sen. In the initial investigation, it was found that Vicky was riding bike while Mohit as sitting pillion rider.
The body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation. The police registered a case under section 304 A of the IPC and have started further investigation.
During investigation it was found that bike was behind the tractor near Depot square and it applied brakes at a speed breaker and bike which was moving hit the tractor trolley in which two got injured.
The tractor driver escaped from the spot leaving the tractor. Search for the tractor driver has been started in the investigation.
Meanwhile, a 21-year-old youth died under suspicious circumstances at Sonagiri under Piplani police station area on Sunday.
Police said that the deceased, Sunil Kumar Saini was found unconscious and declared dead when taken to hospital. The reason of the death remained unknown.
The body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation.
The police registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and started further investigation.
