A 30-year-old man died on Tuesday while his friend escaped with injuries after their bike rammed into a parked tractor near Pipalia Hasnabad under Berasia police station area; deceased was on his way home after work.
Police said that the deceased, Manglilal Mogia and his friend Jagdish rammed into parked tractor and were taken to hospital where Mangilal was declared dead while Jagdish escaped with injuries.
The body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation. The police registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and started further investigation.
The deceased was a resident of Vidisha and used to work at a brick kiln and in the evening he was on his way to home along with Jagdish.
In the accident he sustained severe injuries in his head which caused his death. Police have started investigation and would take action against the tractor driver who parked it with negligence over road.
Meanwhile, a 32-year-old man committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling late in the night on Tuesday at his house in Aishbagh.
Police said that the deceased Deepak Chouhan was found hanging with the ceiling. He was taken to hospital where he was declared dead. The deceased was a resident of Harda and used to live with family in a rented room. He was addicted to liquor.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem, reason behind the suicide remained unclear and would be investigated.
