Another homemaker Seema Verma said, “As the prices are taking a hike and budget remaining limited, I usually do not go for white wash my home. But, I always keep experimenting when it comes to decorating my house in diwali. This year I have bought colourful curtains in contrast with my dining room and special wooden flowers for decoration. Another stuff that I have bought is the bandhwara made out of cloth and flower.”
On the other hand, a shop vendor Hemant said, “This diwali people are more interested in buying the traditional yet trendy stuff. So I have a lot of varieties which could satisfy their taste at affordable prices. I have stuff beginning from Rs 150 going upto the range of thousands. On Diwali people make their homes more welcoming and fill in the cheerful atmosphere with diwali home decoration items. Weeks or months before the diwali festival, everyone starts decorating, designing and decking up their homes and have already prepared shopping list for diwali celebration and so the shop vendors are also satisfied with the sale.
