Chilling cold conditions were witnessed in Bhopal on Friday morning, night temperature went freezing at several places in the state.
There is a possibility of dry weather in most parts of the state in the next one week. Although the temperature dipped below 10 degree celsius and are maintained at those levels.
In Gwalior 7, Datia 8.2, Nowgong 8.5 and Khajuraho 9 degree celsius was recorded during the last 24 hours, but there is no significant change in the minimum temperature of Madhya Pradesh in the next 5 days, hence in most parts of Madhya Pradesh. There is very less chance of cold wave condition.
A fresh Western Disturbance is likely to affect the Western Himalayan region from the night of December 13. During 13-15 December, scattered rain and snowfall is very likely over Jammu & Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad and Himachal. There is possibility of dry weather in most parts of Madhya Pradesh till December 17. Although the temperature remained very low yet there is no significant change in the minimum temperature of Madhya Pradesh in the next 5 days, hence creating cold wave conditions in most parts of Madhya Pradesh.
