The birthday of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee will be observed as Good Governance Day in the State.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will be the chief guest at the function to be held on December 24 here. On the occasion, the Chief Minister will confer late Sushil Chandra Verma Excellence Award and other excellence awards under Jan-Dhan Yojana to officers and employees. The function to be held at Samanvay Bhavan of Apex Bank will be presided over by Public Services Management and Transport Minister Bhupendra Singh. Home Minister Babulal Gaur, Higher Education Minister Umashankar Gupta, MP Alok Sanjar, MlAs Vinshnu Khatri, Arif Aqeel, Vishwas Sarang and Chief Secretary Anthony de Sa will also be present on the occasion.
