World Environment Day was observed in Local Head Office of State Bank of India in Bhopal. Chief General Manager Umesh Kumar Pandey administered the oath for striving for environment conservation. Pandey urged the staff to contribute to the Bank’s mission of increasing awareness on Sustainability.
Pandey also appealed the Bank staff to contribute in the cause of reducing plastic consumption, minimizing waste and maintaining cleanliness and ensure that there is no wastage of resources such as paper, water and energy at their workplace where they operate.
Also present on the occasion were General Managers Sandeep Kumar Dutta, Giridhar Swaminathan and Geeta Tripathi and DGM and Circle Development Officer U. Dinesh Shanbhag.
