The Bhopal music lovers of the city witnessed the melodious voice of a young singer Nayansee Sharma on Friday.
A cultural programme ‘Sugam Sangeet’ was organised at People’s University Campus by Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR). The programme was held under the Horizon series of cultural programmes at 2 pm.
Notably, Nayansee is one of the finest singers among the young generations. Hailing from Bhopal Nayansee has reached the heights receiving appreciation across the world.
Nayansee Sharma presented enormous beautiful songs, bhajans and ghazals before the audience.
She began her performance with Salona Sa Sajan Hai, which is origionally sung by the pioneer of playback singing Asha Bhonsle. She, then, presented the song Babuji Dhire Chalna, Sawar loon Sawar loon, Moh Se Chhal Kiye Jaye, lag Ja Gale, Teri galliyan and many more.
Nayansee with her wondrous performance enthralled the music lovers at the hall. Whatever the genre, Nayansee presented her vocal skills wonderfully, which created an impact over the listeners.
In the next segment, she performed other tuneful songs like Nigahien Milane Ko Jee Chahta Hai, O Haseena Zulfo Wali Jaane Jahan, Kamli Kamli, Naino Se Badra Chhaye, Aaj Jane Ki Zidd Na Karo, Rangeela Re and other Bollywood songs. She then gave her performances a grand closure with the songs O lal Meri…Duma Dum Mast Kalandar, which was much enjoyed by the audience.
The clarity in her voice made all the songs more melodious. Interestingly, she performed songs sung by both male and female artistes beautifully leaving the audience enthralled. Her performance was more like a feast for the classical music lover. Her performances took the audiences into mesmerising heights of ecstasy anyway.
Especially, the youngsters enjoyed her performance to the fullest as she not only performed old songs, but also performed the songs of new movies as well. It was a extravagant performance by Nayansee.
