The mayor told the officer of the building permission branch that if the complaints are old, they should be resolved by giving reasons for them. We will discuss about the complaints in the meeting.
Mayor Rai said that a total of 575 complaints have been received this week. Work is going on about 200 complaints. The rest have been resolved. There are about 1 thousand old complaints. Most of these are related to street dogs. People are not stopping them themselves. They want the dogs to be removed from the colony forever, but the corporation has less resources. At the same time, the rule is that the dog should be released at the place from where it is caught. Therefore, the complaints are pending. Sewage complaints are also being resolved immediately.
The mayor also called the people who complained along with the officers on Tuesday. Asked a person that you had complained about encroachment, has it been resolved? On this, the person said that yesterday the staff removed the encroachment, but today it has again accumulated. The mayor said that further action will be taken.
