Bhopal Mayor Alok Sharma has announced the construction of She-lounges on Saturday at the prominent places of BHEl alike the she-lounges at 10 Number market and Polytechnic.
Sharma has also announced the construction of sulabh public convenience centre at Shakti Nagar market. Former CM Babulal Gaur and Mayor Alok Sharma performed the bhumi-pujan for the construction of the wall of the nullah at Saket Nagar and for the asphaltation of the road near Shakti Nagar market.
The asphaltation of the road near Shakti Nagar would cost Rs 70 lakh while the wall of the nullah at Saket Nagar would cost Rs 50 lakh.
While extending diwali greetings to the people, Mayor Alok Sharma said, “The city administration is working continuously in order to provide the basic amenities to the people in a better way. The problems of the citizens are our problems and we would resolve these problems.”
Sharma added, “We are also providing the smart facilities for the citizens in smart city. She-lounges have been constructed at 10 number market and polytechnic for the convenience of the women. She-lounges would also be constructed at the prominent markets of the BHEl. The bhoomi-pujan of the construction works of the she-lounges would be done in 10 days and the construction works would be completed in three months,” he added.
Sharma directed the officials that quality should be maintained in the asphaltation work and in the construction of the wall. He asked the officials for the construction of the acupressure pathway at Madhav Garden, Saket Nagar. Former CM Babulal Gaur welcomed the new announcements of the Mayor and congratulated the citizens.
