October 31, the death anniversary of former prime minister the late Indira Gandhi, is observed in the country every year as National Pledge Day. On the day, various programmes will be held at the State Capital, district headquarters and other important cities. General Administration Department has asked all divisional commissioners and collectors to ensure holding of rallies by district administration marked by patriotic and devotional songs and lectures by distinguished citizens. They have been directed to ensure participation of young leaders.
