Bhopal District President of Bharatiya Janata Party, Sumit Pachauri has expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for changing the name of Hoshangabad to Narmadapuram on the occasion of Narmada Jayanti.
He told that now Narmadapuram will be recognized in the name of Mother Narmada. On the occasion of Narmada Jayanti, district officials including Sumit Pachauri visited Mother Narmada located at Narmadapuram.
Pachauri recited Hanuman Chalisa after having darshan of Mother Narmada and wished for happiness and prosperity of the state.
Sumit Pachauri told that the mere visiting Namami Devi Narmade removes sins. The merit that one gets by bathing in the Ganges, the same result is obtained by mere visiting Mother Narmade.
He said that in the Booth Vistarak Yojna, many hours of continuous work was being done by the officials for several days, which has been successfully completed. Today, on the occasion of mother Narmada's birth anniversary, the District President took the district officials along with him to Narmadapuram for darshan of Mother Narmada.
District President Sumit Pachauri along with District Vice President Satish Vishwakarma, Girish Sharma, Manoj Rathor, Rahul Rajput, Inderjit Singh, Shankar Makoria, Jitendra Shukla, Girish Sharma, Rahul Rajput, District Media Incharge Rajendra Gupta , District General Secretary Jagdish Yadav, Kishan Suryavanshi, District Minister Bhikam Singh Baghel, Anil Pachauri, Ashwani Roy, Bhashit Dixit, Treasurer Raghavendra Dwivedi (Dadu), Office Incharge Raju Aneja, Balista Rawat, Sanjay Mishra, Om Sahu, Ayush Sahu and Praveen Atulbar visited Mother Narmada at Narmadapuram.
