Bhopal Commissioner Pawan Sharma inspected Huzur SDM and Tehsildar Court on Tuesday. During this time, there were more pending cases in the court of Tehsildar Dilip Kumar Chaurasia.
Commissioner Dr. Sharma got annoyed as there were many cases in the Tehsildar's Court, in which the applicants were declared absent. These cases were dismissed without hearing.
Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh was also with the commissioner. During the inspection, Tehsildar Huzur Chaurasia found a large number of cases pending in the court of nomination etc.
On this he expressed his displeasure with the Tehsildar and warned him. Directed to solve the cases expeditiously. In many cases it was found that the applicants were dismissed as absent without hearing.
On this, he gave strict instructions to the Tehsildar that the applicant should be informed at the time of application and a hearing as to which date is forthcoming in his case. So that he is present on the appointed date and his case is heard. If he will not know the date of hearing, how will he attend.
Commissioner Dr. Sharma also inspected the court of SDM Ashutosh Sharma. He directed the SDM to hear the appeals filed by the parties in various revenue cases on time. The status of resolution of cases in the court was found to be satisfactory. Court Assistant Yogendra Singh instructed the Collector on proper disposal of various cases to be awarded on the occasion of 26th January, Republic Day.
