Madhya Pradesh Urban Administration Minister Bhupendra Singh discussed with the media at Hotel Palash Residency on Friday. Bhupendra Singh while answering the questions of the media said that the master plan of Bhopal will be notified in a month. After this it will be kept for one month for claim and objection, after which the final publication of the master plan will be done. At the same time, on the question asked about the metro, he said that the work of the metro is going on according to the deadline. Metro will start in August 2023.
Bhupendra Singh said that contract workers would be appointed in urban bodies by the end of next month i.e. by November 30. By the end of this year, celebrations of Gaurav Diwas will also be organized in all the bodies. The Minister said that the Urban Bodies Department is on innovation mode, works like solid waste, lift policy, construction approval is being done online.Redensification policy has also been approved.
Minister Bhupendra Singh said that the state is first in the country in street vendor scheme also. When asked about the disturbances in Shri Mahakal Lok, the Minister said that no complaint has been received with the government in this regard so far.
He told that the work of the second phase of Mahakal Lok has also started fast.
