Vivek Pathak, DGM (IT) and Debasish Mandal, DGM (CMS), representing BHEl, won the Regional round of the 15th edition of Tata Crucible Corporate Quiz, India’s Biggest and Highest rated Corporate quiz, after competing with the sharpest minds of various reputed organizations from Central India.
This is their third consecutive historic win. The Quiz was held at Radisson, Indore, on August 8. The Team won a cash award of Rs 75000. The guest of honour was Abhishek Mishra from IIM Indore.
This is for the third consecutive time that this team has brought laurels for the organization and to the city of Bhopal. This is a record of any sorts for a team in Central India. In years 2014, 2016, 2017 also, they had won this prestigious Quiz, after competing with various teams from Central India. The Quiz will be telecast in Times Now channel, the official Media partner, in the last week of September 2018.
Around 100 teams from different reputed national and multinational companies participated in the preliminary round of this Business Quiz and BHEl Bhopal team was amongst the top 6 teams to make it to the Finals. In the finals, they were simply unstoppable, with amazing speed, depth of knowledge and passion for information and registered a resounding victory, with a score of 800. The runners up scored 500.
Tata Crucible is India’s most prestigious Corporate Business Quiz competitions, wherein 3000 + teams, across 25 cities participated in the last year’s edition held by the Tata Group.
