DK Dikshit, general manager, Quality BHEl, Bhopal on Tuesday inaugurated the opening programme of the 31st quality circle convention being held at Cultural Hall, Piplani, under the aegis of Quality Month.
The qualified circle selected on the basis of 25 per cent criteria will give presentation on the problems solved by them in their work area. On this occasion all general managers, Padmashri Bl Chouksey, Anurag Shukla, Sr DGM- BEX; leader, Deputy leader, Facilitator of the circles and Department heads were present.
Dikshit in his address appreciated the quality circle activities carried out in BHEl. He further said that quality circle is the only source which motivates the employees to continuously strive for improvement in their respective works. In this process the employee themselves identify the problem in their work area, suggesting ways for solving the issue.
Dikshit praised the efforts of Anurag Shukla, Priyansh Upadhyay and convener of quality circle Bl Chouksey as maximum number of members of quality circle for Prime Minister Shram Awards -2014. Speaking on the occasion Padmashri Chouksey said that the circle competing today has been selected from among all the circles functioning in the organization in the ratio of 4:1. The circle which wins today among the selected circles chosen, based on the 25 per cent criteria will be sent for QCFI, CII and other competitions of national level.
Padmashri Chouksey coordinated the programme while Anurag Shukla proposed a vote of thanks. In the programme leaders, deputy leaders, facilitators, head of departments and senior officials were present at the occasion.
