The Heat Exchanger Group of BHEl Bhopal is always aggressive in meeting customer requirements and delivering quality products in the shortest time. Apart from Surface Condensers and Moisture Separator and Reheaters (MSR), High Pressure (HP) Heaters is also the prime product dealt by the division. HP Heaters are being manufactured from more than four decades and this group had regularly updated the product with the changing technologies and following the latest developments. Heat Exchanger Group has maintained its leadership and competitiveness in the open market too.
BHEl, Bhopal received an order in March’15 for manufacture and supply of Surface Condenser and Feed Water Heater Packages for the four (4) units of 270 MW Bhadradri, Managuru project in Telangana state. In order to meet the tight delivery schedule and to ensure supply of eight (8) HP Heaters required for this project, all out efforts were made to ensure manufacturing actions on top priority. Smart and planned manufacturing actions resulted in successful readiness on first heater in Dec-2015 and now this group is at the verge of completing the last i.e. 8th HP Heater shortly.
This group has met all the challenges given to them apart from delivering the HP Heaters; group has also manufactured more than 90 per cent items of all four Surface Condensers also for this project. Recently this group has manufactured and supplied Moisture Separator and Reheaters (MSR) for 700 MW Nuclear Plants at KAPP & RAPP.
Sixteen (16) assemblies of MSR were manufactured & delivered in a span of seventeen (17) months i.e. from March 2014 to July 2015 meeting all stringent requirements of NPCIl under the critical inspection by the local NPCIl team of experts. This is an aggressive group ready to handle all challenges.
