Vivek Pathak, DGM (IT) and Debasish Mandal, DGM (TXS) representing BHEl, won the regional round of the Tata Crucible Corporate Quiz, India’s largest and highest rated corporate quiz, competing with the sharpest minds of various reputed organizations from Central India.
The team won a cash award of Rs 75,000. The award was presented by Prof Debashish Das, Head, Tata International. This is for the third time that this team has brought laurels to the organisation. In years 2014 and 2016 also, they had won this prestigious Quiz, after competing with various teams from Central India.
In a simple programme held at Bhopal DK Thakur, Executive Director, BHEl, Bhopal felicitated the team, in the presence of Sanjeev Gupta, General Manager (P&D, IT), and NP Sanodia, AGM (IT) on Thursday. Around 100 teams from different reputed national and multinational companies participated in the preliminary round of this Business Quiz and BHEl Bhopal team was amongst the top 6 teams to make it to the Finals.
Tata Crucible is India’s most prestigious Corporate Business Quiz competitions, wherein more than 3,000 teams, across 25 cities participated in the last year’s edition held by the Tata Group. Tata Crucible, a knowledge initiative started by the Tata group 13 years ago, is a platform for professionals to showcase their talent, by thinking on their feet, out of the box, and logically reasoning out responses, skills that are essential in today’s corporate life.
