In a grand programme held at BHEl, Bhopal, three executives, six supervisors and ten workers were awarded with a Trophy and Certificate of appreciation in various categories to facilitate better coordination among the different level of employees as well as to further create a better work culture. He also said that group work is the best work every performed.
On this occasion, DK Thakur, Executive Director; MS Kinra, General Manager, HR; all general managers and HODs were present.
Thakur addressing the gathering said that receiving an award is in itself a mark of honour, the person who is himself receiving the award gets motivated, other people working around him also gets motivated. He further urged the winners to act as role model for other employees.
Kinra in address congratulating the winners said that the initiative has been undertaken by Human Resource Division to motivate the young employees to connect them to the mainstream of the organisation. The employees from manufacturing, services and support sector were given the prizes.
Meanwhile, Pratibha Thakur, President, BHEl ladies Club the other day inaugurated the stall jointly set-up by Kalyan, Vatika, Masala and Vocational Centre of BHEl ladies Club at the Artisan Academy, Mrinal Residency, Bhopal.
Thakur in her address said that the objective of ladies’ club is to empower the weaker sections of the society with special emphasis on women. She said that to promote the products made by the women of the centres, the club has started to participate in exhibitions. The revenue received from the sale of the product displayed at the exhibitions is spent for carrying out social work.
