As a part of the Quality Month Programme being held in BHEL Bhopal, a lecture session on ‘Managing The Manager’ theme was organised today at IFX, Conference Hall, BHEL Bhopal for the senior officials of the organisation.
On this occasion Swami Swaroopanandaji, Global Head, Chinmaya Mission was present as the Guest speaker. DK Thakur Executive Director BHEL Bhopal was especially present in the programme. All general managers, DROs, HODs and other senior officials along with some special guest from various industries of Bhopal were also present in the programme.
Thakur in his address informed the gathering about the importance of ‘Managing the manager’ and its applicability in our day to day life. He also urged the gathering to learn as much as possible from the session.
Speaking on the occasion Swami Swaroopanandaji shared his valuable insights from the Gitaand the Vedas and its usefulness in daily working. He briefed about the ‘Mind’ which is the manager of our life. He stressed that we are stuck under self-imposed limitations which prevents us from realising our real potential and inner capacity. He said that Mother Nature is the best teacher from which we can learn many things. He also cited various verses from Geeta and Vedas which help us in becoming aware of ourselves and how we can develop and grow to benefit the organization and society at large.
Earlier, MS Kinra, GM (Quality) welcomed the guest, senior executives, special invitees and other participants in the session.
