HRDC BHEl Bhopal observed BHEl learning Week from September 5 to 9 by conducting a series of events. This learning week commenced from September 5. This day is observed as Teacher’s Day all over country in memory of S Radhakrishnan who was an extraordinary philosopher, thinker, writer and teacher.
It is a vision of our honourable CMD that a knowledge hub is created in BHEl by driving the learning Movement in the whole organisation to transform it into Responsive, Robust and Rising organisation. This issue was deliberated elaborately by the Top management and accordingly a new group–“Corporate learning & Development Group” was formed.
ClD steered the idea of observing “BHEl learning Week” at all HRDCs of BHEl which should act as a Catalyst in inculcating a learning Culture in the company and translating learning into action as it gives a lasting advantage.
Hence, Corporate learning and Development group decided to observe this week from September 5 to 9 with the aim of making the BHEl of tomorrow as a ‘Rising, Robust and Responsive’ organisation. The theme for this year is Teaching-learning-leading.
Message from Executive Director, BHEl Bhopal marked the beginning of this week at Bhopal unit which emphasised upon continuous learning for motivating better performance in employees thereby driving business results and generating competitive advantage. He also said that learning need to be treated as an Investment and not Expenditure.
This was followed by technical talks on Emerging Trends in Concentrated Solar Power Technology and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of Existing Problems respectively.
Behavioral aspect was also covered under training programme on Achieving excellence for women and Interpersonal Relations at Workplace for employees.
Slogan and essay competitions on the theme Role of l&D in making the organization Rising, Robust and Responsive were also
organised.
The prize winners and the participants were felicitated in the closing ceremony of BHEl learning week on September 9 which was presided by GM (HR, CMG, PMG& EC).
