BHEl Education Board tries to bring positivity among students

Published on:

In the schools Jawahar Secondary, Jawahar Primary, Vikram Secondary and Vikram Primary regulated by the BHEl Education Board, a new approach was attempted on an experimental basis to bring in positivity among the students. In each class, a teacher has been asked to remain present during the lunch hours and the lunch will be shared.

This will encourage the students to share their thoughts with teachers and create a better interaction. This will be first started in the Jawahar Senior secondary school as the senior students are burdened with their curriculum.

Teachers believe that the importance of schools in education is less as all the information is available on the internet. The most important thing is how to keep the students in a friendly environment and impart education. In IIT entrance exam, in comparison to other schools, mostly the students from Jawahar School get selected and this is the reason the experiment will start first here.

The Secretary of BHEl Education Board TU Singh said that the presence of teacher in the class during the lunch hour will encourage the students to respect the teacher. They will not find time to fight and waste time among each other and the negativity will not be there, he added. He further said that the teachers are directed to remain in the class during lunch hour, but starting from next session the lunch sharing approach will create a better environment.

According to the 75 year old retired teacher BK Sharma this approach will be a success. He further said that as the students get to higher class either they prefer being alone or negativity surrounds them. The sharing of lunch will bring the teachers and students close, he added.

There would not be any interference from the education board on how much lunch one should bring, instead it will encourage all the students to bring lunch and share it with each other.
