Under the chairmanship of SR Prasad, Executive Director, BHEl, Bhopal, the meeting of Central Safety Committee concluded at BHEl, Bhopal on Friday.
Discussions were held on overhead Crane / Sling Inspections, Jib Crane inspection, Mobile Crane inspection, cleanliness, proper stacking of products & materials, safety equipments, Fire safety, electricity safety, Jumbo lifter and Fork lift safety, Machine safety, Road safety, Crises Management during the meeting.
Prasad said that safety is the soul of production. He further urged the gathering to adopt all safety measures in daily work. Girish Shrivastava, General Manager (HR) & President Central Safety committee appreciated the efforts of the committee towards daily safety drill of Shop-Floor, Inspections, inspirational speech requesting the members to work following the safety parameters.
All General Managers HODs and Concerned officials were present in the meeting. Union representatives of Central Safety Committee Manoj Dixit (HESTU-HMS), BP Yadav (HESTU-HMS), SN Naikiya (HEMTU-INTUC) were all so present in the meeting where issues raised by them were discussed.
Various suggestions were extained by the union in which the management assured them of speedy action. Oscar Angel, Senior DGM (HSE) and Secretary Central safety committee coordinated the entire programme.
