BHEL, Bhopal on Monday celebrated the Vishwakarma Jayanti festival with traditional zeal and fervor. At the same time with the offering of puja, various tableaus were set-up at different blocks of the unit on the theme ‘Digitalisation, Globalization and Modernization; accelerates BHEL to become nation’s pride, with vision as its sole motto’.
On this occasion large number of the employees along with their family members also participated in the puja rituals.
DK Thakur Executive Director BHEL Bhopal, HK Nigam General Manager and President (BHECNIS), Kuldeep Mathur General Manager and Vice-President (BHECNIS), Shri Raghvendra Shukla Additional General Manager (Publicity & Public Relations Department), all general managers along with the members of the jury visited different tableaus installed at various blocks.
Thakur extending best wishes to the employees as well as their family members on Vishwakarma Jayanti, urged the employees to work with full commitment and dedication to clock the target turnover for the current fiscal.
The Jury member of the tableau competition for this year comprised of Vipin Minocha General Manager (MM &CDC), RK Arya General Manager (CMG, PMG & CMS), Vinay Nigam General Manager (WE & MOD) and Neelam Bhogal General Manager (SCR-Engg) whereas the members for the 5S competition were AK Kiyawat General Manager (HSE), MK Shrivastava General Manager (WEX) and P Kesharwani AGM (CPX).
The programme was co-ordinated by Ravindra Aind Secretary (BHECNIS), Clara Toppo Cultural Secretary (BHECNIS) and DK Nidkhere.
In the tableau competition from among the Product category SCR won the First prize, STM the Second prize, TCB the Third and HCM won the special prize while from Services group CIM won the First prize, PRM the Second, HRD-Third, FHX-First Special prize, WEX-Second Special prize and TEM won the consolation prize.
